Path to Inclusive Leadership (Impact+ Webinar)

Session Overview

This 90-minute session is aimed at emerging leaders within the Community Disability Services sector, although available to anyone interested in intercultural and disability bias, and disability justice.  Participants will explore the theory of bias and different kinds of biases, including conscious and subconscious bias, intercultural bias and disability-related biases. Through stories and examples, participants will gain an understanding of how bias can appear and impact community and group care settings. The session will also discuss how cultural beliefs shape a person's perception of care accessibility and support services.

Certificates will be issued upon verification of  full attendance.
