    The Commission on Accreditation

    The Commission on Accreditation is the arm's length body of ACDS that reviews Level 2 Accreditation site survey reports and renders accreditation decisions. Level 1 Accreditation outcomes are determined by the survey team.

    Commission Membership (Under Review)
    The Commission consists of:
    · Two ACDS member organization representatives
    · One community representative
    · One legal representative
    · One government representative
    · One post-secondary representative
    · One parent representative

    Parameters of Accreditation
    Accreditation can be received under the:
    · CET Accrediation Level 2 Standards
    An organization's accreditation status is valid only for those programs and/or services listed on the Accreditation Certificate.

    Accreditation Decisions
    There are three (3) possible Accreditation decision options. These include:
    · Accreditation Granted (up to three years for full accreditation)
    · Deferred Status
    · No Accreditation
